I have had a camera in my hand since I was in middle school and photography has been a significant part of my life for over 35 years. It is a way for me to document my life, each photo a visual journal of where I have been and the people I have been with.
Photography is a way of creating visual memories that remind me of my life's journey. Each time I press the shutter, I am attempting to break the laws of physics—trying to stop time. To hold a moment of infinity in the palm of your hand is a powerful thing. Not just to merely stop time, but to hold it, savor it, look at it from all angles, treasure an eternal moment that is a universe unto itself—that is the power of photography.
